Large-scale crushing machine – Gyratory crusher – Suzhou Polytime Machinery Co., Ltd.

Gyratory crusher is a large-scale crushing machine that uses the gyratory movement of the crushing cone in the inner cone cavity of the shell to squeeze, split and bend the material, and roughly crush ores or rocks of various hardness. The upper end of the main shaft equipped with the crushing cone is supported in the bushing in the middle of the beam, and the lower end is placed in the eccentric hole of the bushing. When the shaft sleeve rotates, the crushing cone makes an eccentric gyratory movement around the center line of the machine. The crushing action is continuous, so the working efficiency is higher than that of the jaw crusher. By the early 1970s, large-scale gyratory crushers could process 5,000 tons of material per hour, and the maximum feed diameter could reach 2,000 mm.

The gyratory crusher realizes the adjustment and overload insurance of the discharge opening in two ways: one is the mechanical method. There is an adjustment nut on the upper end of the main shaft. When the adjustment nut is rotated, the crushing cone can be lowered or raised, so that the discharge opening changes accordingly. Large or small, when overloaded, the safety pin on the drive pulley is cut off to achieve safety; the second is a hydraulic gyratory crusher, whose main shaft is located on the plunger in the hydraulic cylinder, changing the pressure under the plunger. The volume of hydraulic oil can change the upper and lower positions of the crushing cone, thereby changing the size of the discharge opening. When overloaded, the downward pressure of the main shaft increases, forcing the hydraulic oil under the plunger to enter the accumulator in the hydraulic transmission system, so that the crushing cone descends to increase the discharge port, and discharge the non-ferrous material that enters the crushing cavity with the material. Broken objects (iron, wood, etc.) for insurance.
